Spotify Promotion

What do we think about the Spotify playlists.

Spotify has tens of thousands, possibly hundreds of thousands of playlists created by artists, labels or simple curators. Many of them have tens, hundreds of thousands, or even millions of followers.

But what is their real listening potential?

Let’s take for example a playlist with a fair number of subscribers, 100,000.
How many of these subscribers listen to that playlist every day?
How many of them do it more frequently and how often?

The curators of the playlists currently do not know this data, as they do not have access to the statistics of the individual songs they host in the playlists.

So… how can curators determine exactly what the real listening potential of their playlists is?

Usually curators rely on the number of subscribers to their playlist to determine the offer to propose to promote artists. But that number doesn’t really mean anything. A playlist can have a million subscribers, but the actual daily listeners may be only a thousand, or less !!

What makes a playlist truly reliable and potentially competitive is the average daily number of listeners. This is a fact. The rest is just talk.
For this reason we work organically, we do it flexibly.

What do we do.

We are constantly looking for talented artists to feature in our playlist specifically designed to promote the best lounge music. We insert new selected songs in it on a weekly basis.

Monthly we draw up summary reports based on the data we receive from all the individual artists in the playlist, regarding the number of plays, number of listeners and saves (each artist can obtain this data from his account on Spotify for Artist).

We do this for a very simple reason. We want to determine as accurately as possible the real involvement of the listeners subscribed to our playlist. In this way we determine what the real base of assiduous listeners is, those who every day, or in any case more frequently, listen to our playlist and therefore your songs. From the coefficient we obtain by carrying out the statistical calculation, we can understand the true potential of our audience.

Obviously this coefficient varies every month, according to the real daily interaction of our listeners. This means that we can create offers that can vary monthly, based on the performance of the plays that are actually performed.

What we offer.

In order to guarantee the guests of our playlist the maximum most reliable result in terms of promotion (loop ratio, lightness of the flow for listeners, etc.), we have mathematically established the maximum number of tracks that can be hosted, that is 30. This number favors our listeners the possibility of being able to listen to all the songs in the playlist daily (both in random and linear mode) even more than once a day. And it guarantees all authors to be able to receive a constant and safe number on their tracks regarding the flow of plays.

How we work.

We receive applications through the form below.
Every week we only choose songs that really impressed us and excited us.

Then, we contact the author (or the label) and we propose the offer for the inclusion of the song in our playlist, which varies monthly in relation to the RAE (Real Audience Engagement) coefficient we talked about above.

The asking price is obviously a way to amortize the various general management costs of LOUNGEMASTERS.ORG, as we are a non-profit association, therefore we cannot and do not want to generate profits. What we offer is a reliable opportunity to invest in promotion, with real feedback in economic terms, both in terms of rank positioning.

General Rules and Conditions.

The author (or record company) of the selected song, which is added to the playlist, is obliged to send monthly statistics relating to the song (available in your account on Spotify for Artists).
In the offer email that will be sent by our staff, everything about these data will be listed.

If we do not receive this data on a monthly basis (every first day of the month), the related audio track will be removed from the playlist and the author will not be refunded.
Obviously, all the data we receive will be treated with the utmost confidentiality, in accordance with the laws in force. Therefore the data will never be publicly disclosed and will never be disclosed to third parties. But they will be used only for internal statistical purposes aimed at determining the RAE coefficients.
